Myrrh Essential Oil is a pale yellow to amber liquid with a rich, mildly spicy, gum-like scent. Extracted from the resin of the Commiphora plant through solvent extraction, it blends harmoniously with various oils, including frankincense, sandalwood, benzoin, geranium, patchouli, thyme, mandarin, mint, and lavender. Commiphora, a species of shrubs native to northeast Africa and southwest Asia, grows up to 10 meters high, featuring knotted branches, trifolate leaves, and small white flowers. The trunk exudes an oleoresin that hardens into reddish-brown tears known as myrrh, historically used in aromatherapy and fine toiletries.
