At first, I found this fragrance a little strange but it grew on me. It definitely has a fluffy, bubbly beer scent but it's also quite complex and layered with sweet, fruity notes as well. In my CP soap, it didn't accelerate or discolour and the scent seems to stick well.
Definitely smells like beer. Not for everyone. Come out very strong in CP soap, so maybe scale back a generous portion (Next time I will use only 75% of the fragrance amount).
Performed nicely, no accel or discolor. Scent really sticks well
Got this to make soap for my husband and friends, they all love it and so do I. It smelled like beer straight from the bottle, but once you got it into CP it is amazing. Very fruity, and creamy smelling. I'll be getting a bigger bottle next time!
I made a soap with a Porter beer called Smore's Attack recommended by a local brewer. I also used undeodorized cocoa butter in the recipe. The combination with the fragrance oil is sublime! I love this smell! I originally made this soap to offer to the special men in my life but I'm completely crazy about it myself! FO behaves very well in CP and the scent holds.
I used this in my CP recipe while soaping at room temperature.
It behaved well, and I'm loving the scent so far.
My son is a craft beer maker and adores the smell of hops. At his request I made him this soap, swirling in 5 grams of ground dried hops. The result so far looks and smells great. Hopefully he will be pleased, once it has cured! Does not smell like beer, but smells sweet and earthy, a very pleasant manly scent.
