- Polyethylene terephthalate, or PET Plastic is apart of the polyester family and possesses high clarity, good chemical resistance, high impact resistance, and medium rigidity.
- PET is marked with the resin identification code of 1, while also being light-weight and suitable for use with products containing essential oils.
- We suggest avoiding the use of PET containers to store products that contain essential oils at a level greater than 5% or fragrance oils greater than 15%. If your oil percentages exceed these respective levels, we suggest using glass instead.
