Works Well

I was concerned about using this for my CP soap as some reviews said it didn’t last. However, it worked very well for me. It did not discolour my soap batter very much in use and the slightly yellow discolouration disappeared right away. I added a little lemon and a little lime essential oil to help boost the scent just in case, but the coconut scent remains the most forward. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out and as coconut lime has proven to be very popular in my shampoo and conditioner bars, I’m glad to now be able to offer a coconut lime soap as well to my customers. I gave four stars because I don’t love love love the scent, but I do like it quite a lot. I haven’t tried the soap yet as it is now just fully cured but just wanted to say the scent did last through the curing process very well so far. I don’t use a heavy hand with scent either, keeping it to 2%.

Pas ma favorite

Je ne sent pas énormément la lime, j'ai hâte d'en faire l'essaie dans mes produits pour voir si les notes de lime vont se manifester.

Not for CP soap

I’m not a terribly experienced soap maker but FO’s usually hold better than EO’s and this one almost completely vanished. I’m not sure how much you’d have to use as my general rule is 1tbsp/cup of oils which by most soap math is a lot and this was gone b4 I unmoulded the soap.

Mixed review

I love the scent in my body scrub and in candles but it disappeared in my CP bars which was a huge disappointment for me. Melt and Pour would probably be Ok though.

Smells so good

This scent is a staple for me, it's a Best seller in everything except it doesn't last in CP soap. It always fades on me.

I'll keep using it for bombs and scrubs.
