Potassium Hydroxide
Also known as Caustic Potash, it is used in making natural liquid soaps. Also is used in many industrial applications, like making bio-diesel. Irritating and caustic to the skin, it is important to use care, wear gloves, safety goggles, and appropriate clothing and take proper cautions when using.
Due to its dangerous goods classification, we only ship Potassium Hydroxide within Canada and by Canpar Ground Courier. There is a $35.00 Dangerous Goods Charge applied to all orders for shipping of the 55 lb bag size. Smaller sizes are exempt as they are considered limited quantities by Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations.
